Chair of the Orange County Commissioners Jamezetta Bedford spoke with 97.9 The Hill’s Andrew Stuckey on Wednesday, December 4. She discussed her reelection as Board Chair, Jean Hamilton as vice-chair, and the swearing in of new Commissioners. She also discussed Carrboro’s decision to move forward with a lawsuit against Duke Energy over their role in climate change and the costs that the local government has incurred because of climate change. She also discussed events around town, including an upcoming informational session for potential foster families in Orange County, and more.
