We’re a group of movie-lovers from Ohio celebrating the awesomeness of Nicolas Cage. We’re on a wild mission to review every film in the Cinematic Cageverse, battling over their merits and finally giving them eternal rest in our glorious Bee Cage of Fame.     Our 50th Episode - Valley Girl Retrospective

    It's our 50th episode, and we're celebrating with a retrospective of Nicolas Cage's first film (credited as Cage) "Valley Girl"! We watched the 2003 mini-documentary "20 Totally Tubular Years Later," featuring interviews with Cage, his co-stars, and the creators of the 1980s classic. If that's not enough Cage, we also wax poetic on Nic Cage's continued influence on our lives and podcast. We the Cagefighters review Nicolas Cage's first film of the 21st century -- his car heist smash hit that feels forever stuck in the 90s. Did we like it? Did we love it? Listen and find out.     Caging Out the Dead

    Nicolas Cage teams up with Martin Scorsese to create one of the weirdest works of EMT fiction to ever hit the big screen. We're talking about 1999's "Bringing Out the Dead," which stars Cage as a burned-out paramedic in Manhattan who is haunted by the patients he failed to save. On the plus side, he does get to drink and do drugs on the job, so we're really not sure what he's complaining about. If only SOMEONE would FIRE HIM, DAMMIT!     We've finally made it to the millennium! Hear our rambling takes on Nic Cage's "The Family Man" (2000).  Ever wonder what it's like to wake up from your life as a filthy rich Wall Street banker to a life of poverty, shame and... CHILDREN? Nicolas Cage stars in this Christmas-themed episode of "Outer Limits" that's stretched out to two hours and filled with super sappy love scenes and Don Cheadle as some kind of timelord.  We also discuss Nic Cage's recent announcement that he plans to step away from acting to focus on being a REAL family man.
