This show has been so helpful so far in my journey! The same day that I found the show, I decided to listen to multiple episodes. My family and I are preparing for someone in our family to make their transition soon…due to health conditions. Listening to the show has been a great way to process early grief emotions. Somehow, hearing other peoples stories allows me to cherish the stories that I have with my family. Thank you for this show.

Nick is a wonderful interviewer with a very nice voice. The topics concern grieving for all loved ones and friends. Each episode is informative and helpful. This last episode about what to say and what not to say to a grieving person is very valuable.

Nick does a great job with the Our Dead Dads Podcast. He is an adept interviewer ,who asks insightful questions and then gives his guests room to share their stories. Nick aims to demystify death by creating an atmosphere where he and his guests can have frank discussions about a taboo topic.

Grief can feel like an ever-present cloud, casting a shadow over every aspect of life. However, when you begin to share the pain of loss and express your emotions, it's as if the sun starts to peek through. Nick's podcast serves as that ray of light, offering a platform for individuals to open up and find solace. This safe space fosters vulnerability and provides a means to support one another through their struggles. Initially, I didn't realize the importance of confronting my past, but I'm grateful I did. Meeting Nick at the right time has shown me that there is purpose behind every experience.

I am enjoying listening to the episodes. The content is great and helpful and highly recommended.

I really enjoy Nick Gaylord and his guests in Our dead Dads. Nick has been a friend for many years and over them years had many struggles and with the support of Kim and now this podcast he has shown many that we all can get over things. Good Luck and Can’t wait for more episodes to come.

Depth, authenticity, humor…Our Dead Dads has it all. Nick is a super talented podcaster who doesn’t shy away from difficult and vulnerable topics, all the while being highly entertaining and funny in what can be a very dark topic. His life story is fascinating, his relationship with his dead dad is very complex and his bond with his 3 brothers is heartwarming. They are all hilarious when talking together on the podcast. Super entertaining, enlightening, I laugh and sometimes cry listening to each episode. This podcast has just started, but it’s a gem!

Having lost my dad over 20 years ago, I could relate to this podcast and the memories that come up as well as how to process our grief. As a coach, I see so many people who have unresolved emotions that they need help processing and this podcast provides real, raw conversations on this topic. It’s such a gift to not feel so alone in our grief.

Every person has a unique story to tell when it comes to losing a parent. These stories are sad but they don’t get bogged down in melancholy. There’s great humor, and raw honesty in these stories. As someone who lost a dad at 28, I really enjoy these conversations!
