Something cool finally happened! We pour one out for Ninja World and reflect on the first arc of Daniel Warren Johnson's Transformers before taking a look at the final episode of Transformers Armada, which in many ways embodies the frustratingly almost-good nature of the show - but at least the fight between Optimus and Megatron is REALLY COOL, and our discussion ends on one of the most absurd twists we've had in the history of this show. Then, we look back over Armada's overall run, picking out the highlights (and lowlights) and discussing how we'd change things if we could do it all over. Fatality!

Dreamwave issues 14-18 - Worlds Collide
We return to the Dreamwave Armada comic for its final arc, which looks an awful lot like a Generation 1 comic instead. Wada forgets what anime looks like, Jo struggles to feign interest in Optimus Prime doing nothing for four issues, and Simon Furman manages to write misogynistic dialogue in a story with no women. Unicron makes his debut for, like, the 10th episode in a row, with an episode that tries its damnedest to live up to the transformation sequence from The Transformers: The Movie. The Autobots' attempts to play nice are stonewalled, Optimus doesn't care about people dying if he can't see them, Megatron totally doesn't care about his soldiers (b-b-b-baka), and Demolishor has something like a character arc.
