The actual reviews are fantastic

Once you get past the 10-15 minute intro, this podcast is fantastic. They do a great job at deep diving into each film, it’s plot and the part it plays in the realm of film noir.
Fun, interesting and good discussion

The hosts have a good vibe and, personally, I like the pre discussion banter. The discussion of the movie varies from friends chatting to interesting, well observed commentary - so if you like these films, this show is a gift.
Fun podcast for noir lovers

This is a fun weekly listen for me. I started watching noirs out of curiosity about a year ago, so I was delighted to find this podcast along the way. Keeping up with Dan and Joey lets me experience lots of films I otherwise wouldn’t have thought to watch, and I love hearing their recaps, hot takes, and behind-the-scenes info. The best way to enjoy this podcast is to pick one of the titles they’ve covered, watch it yourself, then return to listen to their recap. The hosts have a great chemistry, and after about the first 5 or 6 episodes, they really hit their stride. (The hosts interrupt each other in the earlier episodes, but they stop doing that pretty quick through the run).
I LOVE Film Noir
10/03/2021
Film Noir is my favorite genre. I like all different kinds of movies, but the grittier the better. Gentleman Joey and Dan the Man are great hosts of this podcast. It’s like hearing your friends talk about the movies. It’s fun stuff and hops along at a quick pace. So if you enjoy the old film noir movies, you will enjoy this podcast. As the guys on the podcast say, “Here’s to crime.”
