Really enjoyed listening to Jenny Rain on the Outspoken Voices podcast. Raise by Unicorns is a great anthology that covers the stories of children raise by LGBTQ+ families. The authors range in age, Baby Boomer to GenZ. Our family has donated this book to our local library and to other businesses in our small town on Eastern Shore of Maryland, these stories need to be read by everyone. LGBTQ+ families span across a diversity of communities and intersecting identities. The Outspoken Voices podcast, beautifully produced and curated by Emily of the Family Equality Council, gives these voices and perspectives a unique opportunity to be heard. Even more, these stories can provide a link to families from across the country and world who sometimes have no where else to turn for solidarity and validation. Bravo FEC!!

Being an LGBTQ-headed family isn’t always easy in a world set-up for traditional, two-parent households with a mom and a dad. Outspoken Voices is a great resource for advice and finding community among other LGBTQ parents.

As a parent, it's so wonderful hearing from these voices... prospective parents, kids of LGBTQ parents, adoptive parents, transracial adoptees, grandparents... it's all here in this fun, sweet podcast. Highly recommend!!!

Season Two of Outspoken Voices feels like a whole new podcast! Family Equality Council really stepped up the quality of the recordings. The subject matter, as always, is relevant, timely, and touching! I could not recommend more highly!
