Bring it back ! So entertaining

I listen to a lot of podcasts and this one was really really rough. I think the hosts are roughly my age, but I truly cannot believe how out of touch, vapid, and spoiled they seemed. I was hoping to learn a bit more about Chicago, and I can usually find something of value in everyone’s viewpoints. But whining about how expensive fast food deliveries, casual disdain for needing therapy, high fiving over cheating, fear of the South Side, snarking about Covid restrictions, and a seeming inability to do anything other than drink and party really isn’t it for me. I think the only “Chicago” knowledge they dropped is that the river gets dyed green. I kept hoping they’d hit their stride, but I’m really embarrassed by the overall ignorance I just witnessed and I hope they all find a way to get some perspective outside of their concierged apartments and suburban lives asap.

Found this gem of a podcast due to an Instagram giveaway, doubt I’ll win but the introduction to this podcast should coins as winning as well!

A trio of 20 somethings whining about how expensive tolls and tickets are and the high taxes in Chicago. I learned nothing beneficial.
