Wonderful podcast that highlights a little-known chapter of World War II history. Bryan Farrell uses thorough research and captivating storytelling to give the listener a window into Le Chambon, a village in France that boldly stood up to the Nazis through nonviolent resistance, and successfully continued this resistance throughout the war, saving thousands of human lives in the process. The topic is critically important today, and the story is conveyed in a fascinating and "page-turning" and emotionally resonant manner. The original musical score also adds a powerful layer of emotion. A must-listen for anyone interested in history, activism, or powerful human stories.
