I’m 31 now, and I remember growing up and seeing my mother doing many of these tips herself in our home. She was always finding ways to extend the life of things, fixing this and that, and problem solving in unique ways that may seem quaint now, but we’re truly necessary back in the day. Keep up the good work guys, can’t wait for the next episode!
Quite possibly my favorite

The accents are beautiful, the banter is even better, all while learning some great old tips! I adore this podcast with all my heart and always eagerly await another.
Fun break from daily stress

I love this podcast! The subject matter is somewhat silly, but also of historical interest, and sometimes actually useful. The hosts’ playful banter is fun to listen to; they always get off-topic in amusing ways following interesting rabbit trails. Since the hosts’ ages vary widely they are able to provide different perspectives. The show provides a fascinating look at how daily household life has changed in the last 60-70 years, and has fun doing it.
