OBEDIENCE REGARDING THE ALTAR PART 1

OBEDIENCE REGARDING THE ALTAR 1 John 3:22 And whatever we ask we receive from Him, because we keep His commandments and do those things that are pleasing in His sight.* Obedience to God's instructions at the altar is very key. God gives specific, unique, and customized instructions to different people to their point of need to help them. Therefore, if we notice that things are not working out, we need to come to God of Him. It could be that we have missed out on an instruction that He gave and in return hindered that prayer from being answered. *Deuteronomy 28:1-2 [1] "Now it shall come to pass, if you diligently obey the voice of the LORD your God, to observe carefully all His commandments which I command you today, that the LORD your God will set you high above all nations of the earth. [2] And all these blessings shall come upon you and overtake you, because you obey the voice of the LORD your God:* The blessing is hinged to obedience to the voice of God and according to *Psalms 1:1*, this voice has been reduced to godly beings as the scripture says: blessed is a man who gets counsel from the godly. It is therefore upon one to choose what is specific or customized to them from what they have heard. *1 Corinthians 11:2-3 [2] Now I praise you, brethren, that you remember me in all things and keep the traditions just as I delivered them to you. [3] But I want you to know that the head of every man is Christ, the head of woman is man, and the head of Christ is God.* Leadership hierarchy starts with God, followed by Christ, then men- the leaders (apostles, pastors, teachers, etc), and men- the sub-leaders. Both leaders and subordinates are ordained by God and carry His voice. Our role is to obey the voice they carry as long as we are sure that they imitate Christ and that He is the source of their authority. *Isaiah 48:17-18 [17] Thus says the LORD, your Redeemer, The Holy One of Israel: "I am the LORD your God, Who teaches you to profit, Who leads you by the way you should go. [18] Oh, that you had heeded My commandments! Then your peace would have been like a river, And your righteousness like the waves of the sea.* Dryness in any area of life is not a result of the desert but because of missing out on the voice of God and failure to obey His instructions. It is therefore important, on our altars, to always inquire from the Holy Spirit concerning those areas we are experiencing dryness to help remind us if we missed out on certain instructions that would have caused us to walk into God's blessings in that particular area of our lives. *Further Study* John 14:20-21 Luke 16:19-30 Exodus 3:7-10 Ephesians 4:12 Numbers 11:16-17 *STAY BLESSED AND HIGHLY FAVORED, WE LOVE YOU. HARMONIZING OUR WILL WITH GOD'S IN PRAYER PART 1

HARMONIZING OUR WILL WITH GOD'S IN PRAYER The Lord instructed us to raise altars because through prayer we permit God to intervene in man's affairs. However, our prayers must align with God's divine purpose; Our will must harmonize with His. God's will towards us is that we increase but He waits on us to call on Him. (Ezekiel 36:37, Isaiah 45:11, Jeremiah 33:3) Though God is the Lord of the land, He gave dominion over the earth to the children of men therefore man has to align Himself to God's instructions. ( Psalms 24:1 and 115:16) Deuteronomy 30:19 I call heaven and earth as witnesses today against you, that I have set before you life and death, blessing and cursing; therefore choose life, that both you and your descendants may live; God gave man a will which He respects; it is, therefore, up to us to exercise our willpower well by aligning it to His perfect will. That is the reason why we pray: that we may harmonize our will with that of heaven because God only shows Himself strong to those who agree with His will. 2 Chronicles 16:9 Matthew 18:18-19 Prayer is not just asking for anything but it must be in agreement with the will of the Father. When man's will is not in agreement with God's, God is restrained and restricted. Psalms 139:16 NLT God's plan concerning man was laid before he was even formed. That is why we must pray in the name of Jesus and yield to the Holy Spirit so that He empowers our prayers to ensure that whatever we request for is in line with the will of the Father. He searches the deep things of God and unveils them to us. Prayer did not originate from man; it is God's idea and is facilitated by Him. Therefore, what matters as we pray is not what we say but what He says to us because that is His perfect will. Jeremiah 6:16 In prayer, we must seek the old pathways which God has laid concerning us, because that is what He hears, reinforces and backs up. Prayer is therefore waiting on God until He unveils His will, then we synchronize, harmonize and agree with it. For example; Jesus in Matthew 26 had His will, but He was careful enough to submit it to the will of the Father. To know how to pray is to understand that we are helpless and submit to the help of the Holy Spirit so that He unveils the will of the Father for our lives then make continuous heartfelt prayers in line with it and avail much. THE LIVING SACRIFICE AT THE ALTAR PART 2

THE LIVING SACRIFICE AT THE ALTAR Psalms 50:5 "Gather My saints together to Me, Those who have made a covenant with Me by sacrifice." The Lord instructed us to raise Holy altars in this season but we need to know that these Holy altars must have a sacrifice (an offering) and a priest who is consecrated always making prayers. We need to understand the kind of sacrifices God requires of us if we are to maximise what He has for us. Psalms 51:16-17 [16] For You do not desire sacrifice, or else I would give it; You do not delight in burnt offering. [17] The sacrifices of God are a broken spirit, A broken and a contrite heart-- These, O God, You will not despise. God only requires sacrifices that come from a broken Spirit and a contrite heart because God looks at the heart. We need to know that Sacrifice is of God; He Himself sacrificed His only son before the foundation of the earth was laid Revelation 13:8 God desires that everything we do springs from a place of love; that is why the Holy Spirit introduced this love in our hearts when He resided in us. Romans 5:5 So, even as we lay ourselves on the altar, we need to cry to God daily to increase our capacity to love such that everything we do comes from our hearts and that place of love. Ephesians 3:17 Unlike in the old testament where the temple had three segments: The altar which was within the temple, the inner court and the Holy of Holies, time came when God no longer resided in the constructed buildings but in our hearts. 1 Corinthians 6:19 Or do you not know that your body is the temple of the Holy Spirit who is in you, whom you have from God, and you are not your own? We are now the temple of the Holy Spirit: that which was trapped in the covenant box is now inside us. We are the moving altars and the first sacrifices that God needs. According to Hebrews 9:15 and 2 Corinthians 5:15, Jesus offered Himself as a sacrifice and the same demand is now on us to as well offer ourselves as living sacrifices according to John 20:21 and Romans 12:1-2. How do we give ourselves as living sacrifices? Ephesians 4:22-32 Below are some of the ways how we can give ourselves as living sacrifices. By, 1. Putting off the former conduct. 2. Being renewed in the Spirit of our minds. 3. Putting on the new man created according to God. 4. Not sinning when we get angry: not letting the sun go down on our wrath. 5. Stop stealing and work with our own hands. 6. Not letting any corrupt word proceed from our mouths. 7. Not grieving the Holy Spirit. 8. Avoiding bitterness, wrath, anger etc. 9. Being kind and forgiving each other. 10. Fleeing sexual immorality. According to 1 Corinthians 6:16-17, the Bible is making comparisons between the harlot and Christ. The joining with which we have been joined is that the Spirit has mingled with our spirits and now we are one with Christ. We should run from sexual sins because the bonding of our bodies with the harlot is like our union with Christ but rather glorify God in our bodies and spirits because they are His. 1 Corinthians 6:20 STAY BLESSED AND HIGHLY FAVORED, WE LOVE YOU. APPROACHING GOD REVERENTLY ACCORDING TO HIS WORD

APPROACHING GOD REVERENTLY ACCORDING TO HIS WORD Amos 3:3 Can two walk together, unless they are agreed? We must align ourselves with God’s protocols, understand His ways and respect His sovereignty, if we are to consistently walk with Him and see the God-kind results in our lives. Remember, He is a king and God all by Himself. He can do without us, yet in His grace and mercy, He chose to include us in His plan. We must therefore have a degree of reverence when we come to Him, for we ask, but He works in His own time Ecclesiastes 3:11 He has made everything beautiful in its time... It is wisdom for us to release our faith in God's timing because times and seasons are in His hands. A good example is in the book of Joshua; Joshua 5:13-14 And it came to pass, when Joshua was by Jericho, that he lifted his eyes and looked, and behold, a Man stood opposite him with His sword drawn in His hand. And Joshua went to Him and said to Him, "[Are] You for us or for our adversaries?" So He said, "No,... God does not take sides in human conflicts. Many of us become casualties expecting God to join us, yet it is us to be on God's side by taking our matters into His hands and letting Him dictate over them. God is only accountable to His Word. If there are issues in your life, the best you can do is to locate His Word concerning that issue and remind Him. This is how you gain leverage over calamity. (Romans 10:17, Hebrews 4:12) Psalms 80:18(KJV) So will not we go back from thee: quicken us, and we will call upon thy name. Effectiveness in prayer is hinged on our speaking, praying, fasting and seeking according to His word. Remember David picked five stones and he used only one. You don't have to use every word, there is that one word that the Lord brings in your spirit and becomes the light.(1 Samuel 17:50) When Elijah stood before the Lord on Mount Carmel, he wasn't presumptuous. The reason why he had such boldness to call fire, is because God had spoken to him and before he finished praying, fire fell. (1 Kings 18:30-38) Daniel remembered that after seventy years, the captivity of the children of Israel in Babylon was over and so he gained leverage with God.(Daniel 9:2) When the children of Israel began to cry after the three hundred years of Egypt, the Lord said; "I have remembered my word".(Exodus 2:24) Brothers and sisters, there is nothing that gives a man confidence and boldness in the place of prayer, like the promises of God that are lit up in your spirit. This is the same reason Peter told the church in Acts 6:4 but we will give ourselves continually to prayer and to the ministry of the word." There is no way you can separate effective prayer from a life of the Word because you bring what the Word says in prayer and what prayer lights up, you take it to the Word. You therefore, can't grow your prayer life without the word. Always remember that God is only accountable to His Word. (Isaiah 55:11, Jeremiah 33:3, Jeremiah 29:11) Psalms 19:13 Presumption is not only words but the way you treat God in your heart. It is so wrong to worship and pray to the king of kings when we are absent minded. We must approach the presence of God with reverence in our hearts. Many have aborted dreams and visions because they heard the Lord too late or were too early. If you want God to be part of your journey and story, live a life that is yielded, surrendered and submitted to His Word. Don't throw this away, it will make things beautiful in its own time. THE SACRIFICE OF THANKSGIVING

THE SACRIFICE OF THANKSGIVING Friday 18th October 2024 Exodus 3:7-8 God delivered close to three million Israelites from bondage in Egypt and all of them had the promise to enter the promised land, yet not all of them entered it because of ingratitude. They began well but along the way, the desert heat and hunger exposed their hearts and character: they were a generation that loved to complain and murmur. One thing that will keep you in the same place for a long time is a heart filled with ingratitude, complaining and murmuring. Exodus 16:2-3 Then the whole congregation of the children of Israel complained against Moses and Aaron in the wilderness... Every time the Israelites lacked something, they complained and murmured to Moses. They had forgotten the pain, beatings, bondage, suffering and shame which they had been delivered from in Egypt. They were so focused on their current condition that was only for a season, to change their confessions. This led to millions of them perishing without seeing the promised land yet it was God’s will for them to enter it.(Numbers 14:29-39, 1 Corinthians 10:9) Don't rob yourself of the promises of God because of your current situation. God does not relent on His Word, let your heart know that it is done and praise be upon your lips despite the desert you are in today. Hebrews 13:15 Therefore by Him let us continually offer the sacrifice of praise to God, that is, the fruit of [our] lips, giving thanks to His name. The sacrifice of thanksgiving is when people expect you to cry and complain but you lift up your hands and praise the Lord, no matter the hardship or pressure around you. The children of Israel forgot. They were blinded by their condition in the wilderness to a point of despising the very food God was giving them by asking Moses, ‘what is this mana?’ Have you reached that place where you are downplaying that little miracle that God did for you? That is a trap of Satan to keep you in the wilderness longer than you should. Anyone will lift their voice and thank God because of something big and great. There is nothing special about that because God doesn't judge us based on big things. He says this in Luke 16:10, He who [is] faithful in [what is] least is faithful also in much; and he who is unjust in [what is] least is unjust also in much. If you can't give God true praise and thanksgiving for what you call the little, but when the big happens, you lift your hands in praise, that's fake! One of the things we need to develop is to be deliberate about the heart of gratitude. Be the kind of believer who is always grateful for the least and I guarantee you that you will qualify for the big. Always remember that one of the greatest instruments that God uses to lift a man is a grateful heart. Judgment is not made when the big things come, it's made when the small things are happening in your life. Psalms 75:6-7(KJV) For promotion [cometh] neither from the east, nor from the west, nor from the south. But God [is] the judge: he putteth down one, and setteth up another. God is a just judge. However, the reason most of us disqualify ourselves from promotions in life, is because we have not learnt that God judges us on the small things. If you do not have it, don't fake it. Just break down before the Lord and tell Him; 'Lord, forgive me, I need that heart that rejoices honestly in the little.' Then, you will begin to see things quicken in your life. CATCHING A REVELATION OF THE LOVE OF GOD PART 2

CATCHING A REVELATION OF THE LOVE OF GOD PART 2 Wednesday 2nd october 2024 *"Simon, son of Jonah, do you love Me?" John 21:15-17* Jesus loves to be loved; His voice still reverberates through the ages the same way He asked Peter. The question was not only directed to him but to this generation too. *Jeremiah 31.3 The LORD has appeared of old to me, saying: "Yes, I have loved you with an everlasting love; Therefore with lovingkindness I have drawn you.* People celebrate power, wealth, success etc which isn't bad but the testimony of John 3:16 that came out of heaven is the answer to the bottom of every question and things that we go through. God is not power but love; He uses every other thing (power, wealth etc) to show His love. This explains why our capacity to love must increase because everything else may fail but love never fails. *1 Corinthians 13:8* The cry of God is for us to long for the pure love that is incorruptible; that is the kind of love that caused the Creator (the Father) to become a creature in the form of a man (in the person of Jesus) because He saw me and you. *Philippians 2:6-8* He didn't stick to His title of being a God but He came like a baby and when His star appeared to the wise men in the East, they carried gifts and entered Jerusalem looking for Him. *Matthew 2:1-11 ...[10] When they saw the star, they rejoiced with exceedingly great joy. [11] And when they had come into the house, they saw the young Child with Mary His mother, and fell down and worshiped Him. And when they had opened their treasures, they presented gifts to Him: gold, frankincense, and myrrh.* What did the wealthy wise men see in little baby Jesus that they couldn't hold back their gifts and worship? All the struggles about giving, worshipping God, surrendering to the Master etc can be reduced to zero only if we get a revelation of God's love and see how much He has done to prove to us that He loves us. This explains why men like Peter, Paul, Thomas etc were not afraid to lay down their lives; they had a revelation of God's love and they knew that the best they could offer was themselves. *Acts 10:38 how God anointed Jesus of Nazareth with the Holy Spirit and with power, who went about doing good and healing all who were oppressed by the devil, for God was with Him.* Jesus went about doing good because He loves us. At the cross, He was spat on, slapped, kicked and mocked but He held back His power and didn't do anything because He saw me and you. *Isaiah 53:7* How many people can handle such lowering and hold back and yet they have the power? The greatest restraining power is love. This explains why Jesus reduced the commandments to two: loving God and our neighbors. Jesus showed us that the way to live is not for ourselves. We are the body of Christ: He has no mouth, eyes, ears etc. Therefore, everything that we do must represent Him and this is only possible if we capture the revelation of His love such that He can use our bodies to express Himself. *John 17:26 I have made Your Name known to them and revealed Your character and Your very Self, and I will continue to make [You] known, that the love which You have bestowed upon Me may be in them [felt in their hearts] and that I [Myself] may be in them. (AMP)* The last move of God will be carried out by men and women who have the love of God because they are going to be entrusted with so much that it will require love to restrain them. That is why we must pray for an encounter with divine love because there are things we shall never do to God's people if we have His love. *2 Corinthians 13:14, Romans 5:5* Jesus supplies grace, the Father releases love and it is the Holy Spirit that brings us into fellowship and experience of the love and grace of God.
