Charlie explains that praying for our Pastors is the most important way we can provide support. He also explains that engagement in the church and deploying our gifts in community are explained clearly in Scripture.

Charlie is candid about the pressures and stresses experienced by Pastors. He allows us to look behind the curtain, and he walks us through some of these stresses and pressures.

Pastor’s Wives

We discuss the role of a Pastor’s wife, and the fact that she experiences many of the challenges and pressures of the Pastor. The Pastor’s wife can be lonely and should also be supported, rather than harshly judged, by the church community.

We also discuss the need for assembled Christian community amidst some of our cultural decline in the U.S. The value of employing our gifts together by engaging in the local church is clear in Scripture.
