The Pepper Case

On today’s episode - our first of the series - we’ll be looking at the interesting and somewhat fiery story surrounding ‘the Pepper case’ - or to give it its official name: case G3/19. Biotech and plant breeding have always been important and contentious IP issues in Europe. NLO expert Dietmar Hertsen (Chemical engineer, biotech expert and trainee patent attorney), Bart Swinkels (partner and European patent attorney at NLO) and Nadja Freeman will talk us through the issues and consequences of this interesting case.
