“I’m gonna read the whole thing, and it’s long. We might have to preempt Antiques Roadshow for this, but it’s worth it,” - god bless Jeffrey Goldberg.Lol 🤙
Constitutional crisis Trump not Biden not Obama
Mar 22
Based on the search results, it's more accurate to say that PBS and NPR have covered discussions of "constitutional crisis" in relation to presidential actions, and that those discussions have been very heavily focused on the actions of the prior presidential administration. Specifically the presidency of Donald Trump. Here is a summary of what the Search results indicated. * Focus on the Trump Administration: * Much of the reporting and discussions on PBS and NPR concerning "constitutional crisis" centered on actions taken during the Trump administration. This included reporting on clashes with the judiciary, executive actions, and disputes over congressional powers. * The search results brought to light situations where legal scholars and experts have been quoted within those news agencies, saying those actions undertaken during the Trump presidency did constitute a constitutional crisis. * Contextual Reporting: * PBS and NPR have provided context by exploring the meaning of "constitutional crisis" and interviewing legal experts to analyze presidential powers. * These organizations have also reported on the debates surrounding the boundaries of presidential authority and the checks and balances within the U.S. government. * Biden and Obama Reporting: * While the phrase is used very heavily when describing the actions of the Trump presidency, the phrase is used sparingly if at all concerning Obama or Biden. When these presidents actions are reviewed, they are normally discussed within the context of legal debates, instead of using the heavy terminology of "constitutional crisis". * One of the search results mentioned Biden, specifically in relation to the 14th amendment, and dealing with the debt ceiling, this article was more about the analysis of that legal possibility, then directly stating that there was a constitutional crisis. In conclusion, PBS and NPR have reported on the concept of "constitutional crisis," particularly in the context of analyzing the actions and legal disputes of the Trump presidential administration.

Well handled week. Please more time in the future?!.
This is a DON’T MISS pod.

I don’t give out 5 stars unless you earn it, and this pod does! I especially appreciate that you don’t have pundits and campaigns on the show. Jeff is an excellent host with just the right amount of levity and sarcasm mixed into the solid reporting. This is not only the best pod today, but maybe the best all time. Thanks!
PBS version of “The View”.

They have become so biased that they are no longer relevant. Let me know when you come back to reality.
Jeffrey Goldberg

As editor of The Atlantic, he is excellent. Moderating a panel does not come easy to him. He gets all tangled up in wording the question. Perhaps some coaching would help?
Disappointed

I’m a long time fan, but have been disappointed with the new host. To often question seems like a monologue-and unlike the conversations Gwen and Robert had on a Friday afternoon with their guests. Wish I still loved it.
Goldberg Rocks

I am now re-addicted to Washington Week. The light, informed and collegial tone set by Mr Goldberg makes this national governmental nightmare less of a trauma and more about facts. Plus he has constructed his entire set at home in the garage. Can’t beat that! Thank you Atlantic, for keeping this gem on the air for sane people who want to remain so.

Attacked US bases 160 times, but were surprised that they finally killed Americans?
Endless idle speculation.

Jeffrey Goldberg summed it up perfectly. Once informative Washington Week has turned into “endless idle speculation.”
