I admire Steve as a pioneer in a part of economics that I hope to participate in (I’m a PhD student). It’s nice to hear an economist that I respect, translating interesting work from other fields into a language that another economist (or, I think, even a normal person, can understand). In addition, it’s not what I come for, but one of my sons was stillborn late into gestation, and I have had a positive, even somewhat therapeutic, experience listening to Steve talk occasionally about his own experience with tragically losing a child.

The David Eagleman episode solidified my opinion that Levitt is autistic (source: peer review; I am autistic). Great episode, loved all his questions.

I love PIMA and all content from Freakonomics, its super cool to get a logic and scientific view on our day to day stuff. Keep up the great work!

This podcast is always enjoyable. I like his voice, and of course I enjoy the interviews. I enjoyed this particularly possibly because I am almost 77 years old and I figured this out about 30 years ago. I made up my mind to be happy with whatever I had, and I am. My life is full! I read what I want, study what I want, interact with whom I want, see my great grandchildren regularly (maybe not quite enough😁), and it made me joyful to be affirmed by this man.
