You can do a great job… but it’s not really year 3 for recruiting.. Ryan arrived and took several players from OK, but it was not a full class.. Just as it’s only year 1 for the defense.. For the offense line.. it takes 2-3 years to develop the OL and the Helton era did not recruit for several years so there was no depth.. NIL- USC was unprepared for NIL and that was more related to the administration and not Riley.. and now with Nike/Phil Knight being the Oregon NIL program, there is the inherent advantage of endless $$$ plus just as important the potential future benefit of being a Nike supported athlete after college.. So not as simple as just increasing the amount of the NIL $$ (Gerard Martinez) does a much better job of breaking it down.. Keep up the good work jb 81/83

I don’t know if the Indiana coach (very few if any 4 or 5 star recruits) or if the Washington coach are geniuses but I’d much prefer a good coach to a “genius”. No one at USC cares about LR’s record in high school or Oklahoma following Stoops. It matters nothing. 2 1/2 years of Clay Helton like results. Helton was horrible but Riley is in the conversation. He’s not smart. I wouldn’t want him in a row boat with me. I doubt he’s smart enough to assemble all but the most simple IKEA furniture, “Genius”? He’s much closer to an idiot than he is to a “genius”. Einstein was a “genius”.
