MBTA General Manager Phil Eng says our train system in Boston is the “best in the world.” That might seem laughable, but he makes the case that the city’s transit system might not be the fastest or biggest, but what it lacks in modern amenities, it makes up for in “character.” This week on Say More, Phil talks to Shirley about his childhood working at his parents’ Chinese laundromat, where he learned the value of knowing your customers, something he brings to the job today.
