Physical Attraction

This has quickly become my favorite podcast. The host’s expertise is physics, including the physics of climate change, and the podcasts on those topic are interesting and revelatory to a lay person. But equally illuminating are episodes on other topics, including finance, economics and sociology. The host brings the same incisive analysis, preparedness and joy of discovery to all these subjects.

Physical Attraction is a truly thoughtul and thought provoking show. The ideas discussed here aren't what you normally get on the internet, or sadly in the news. Clearly these ideas have been ruminated on for a while before being brought forth. Truly interesting topics from alien life to UBI. Highly recommended.

Thomas is as Britishly charming as he is brilliant about how the world works. A delightful listen, couldn't recommend it enough <3

Many science podcasts are seriously overproduced. They have multiple hosts and feel the need to jazz things up as if they are afraid they're about to lose all their listeners any second if they concentrate on the science. The result is too many jokes, sound effects and banter. Physical Attraction has only Thomas Hornigold and his guests and Hornigold appears very confident that his listeners are tuning in because, well, they dig science and like to learn cool stuff. It's a refreshing change and much appreciated. Listen to this podcast, pay attention and you'll learn things. What a concept.
