If Wet Hot American Summer featured movie reviewing characters, this would be the show.
I’m not the biggest podcast fan typically, but somehow this ragtag team of movie dorks has struck gold. What works exceptionally well in this podcast is the charisma and breadth of knowledge each of the co-hosts possess; they provide intelligent and hilarious synopses of films both current and dated, without giving too much away, but do so in a manner that makes you WANT to watch what they are referencing. Admittedly I’ve never thought much about physical versions of films, but after listening to their reviews on the various formats of movies being released, it makes me curious what exactly I’m missing out on.
Keep up the good work - and watch Escanaba in Da Moonlight sometime for a
godawful (great) time!
The Best!
Sam, Kurt, Bobby and Kim are all so knowledgeable in so many different ways, and they’re a riot! I have so much fun listening to their banter!
