I have to admit this first podcast I’ve ever listened to (usually not my thing). However, the Why Black Skincare Matters episode was great. Different than I thought it would be. Very informative and thought provoking as we look at skincare world. Let’s just say I am excited to listen to more episodes. They are mini masterclasses of hot topics within the beauty/skincare arena! @edriceangry

As a formulator and indie beauty entrepreneur, this show has been so interesting and helpful in helping me understand and analyze critical topics within the beauty industry. In addition to Formula Botanica’s formal education courses, this podcast provides leading thought leadership and I’m so grateful for it. Next sustainability idea topic - clays!! I seriously hadn’t even thought for a second it might be an ingredient of concern, but in crafting my brand sustainability policies it dawned on me that they not renewable ingredients and are mined (I supposed this question really extends to the discussion of mines ingredients in general). I believe there are some mines that are managed more responsibly than others, but my main question Id love to discuss is- are natural clays/mined ingredients environmentally sustainable?
