Multipotent MD

Multipotent M.D. is a podcast where we invite Canadian medical students, residents, and physicians to help us navigate through this crazy career we’ve chosen to pursue. Every week we have a guest on the show to chat with us about their experiences in medical school and residency, and to tell us about all the ins and outs of their speciality. We are Ziad and Christopher, 3rd year medical students at Schulich School of Medicine in London, ON, and we invite you to tune in every Thursday for a brand new episode of Multipotent M.D.

    Roadmap for early 2021

    Happy belated New Year! We are back after a brief break and we're really excited to share with you what's to come in the following weeks. We have been working hard on two new projects: (1) Residency Reel: we have six new episodes in the Residency Reel series coming your way! Our first episode in this series was a huge success, and the guests we've lined up this year have all been truly fantastic. Stay tuned. (2) CMHF Laureates: we've partnered up with the Canadian Medical Hall of Fame again and have had the honour of interviewing several of the CMHF inductees. In this series we get to know the life stories of the laureates, and have the opportunity to highlight their incredible contributions to healthcare and health research. There will be weekly bonus episodes associated with these that focus on the lasting impactings of their work from the perspective of someone who has been affected by their legacy.     Today it is a privilege to welcome onto the show Dr. Philip Berger, a 2018 inductee into the Canadian Medical Hall of Fame! Dr. Berger has been recognized for his incredible work in advocacy and activism on behalf of the HIV/AIDS community, and he has defiantly advocated for equitable access to care for all marginalized populations. Thank you to Dr. Berger and to our listeners for joining us for our first episode in Season 2 of the CMHF-Multipotent MD collaboration!
