Brenda & Shelley: Staying in the Center of God’s Will Morning Cup of Faith

    • Religion & Spirituality

We’re three months away from 2022! This is a time to get focused, realign our priorities and to get into agreement with God’s word. You might still be thinking, “What is my purpose? What is God’s will in my life?” Brenda and Shelley go unplugged with one of their favorite verses, the great commission at the end of Matthew 28, “Go therefore, and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and the Holy Spirit, and teaching them to obey everything I have commanded you. And surely I am with you always, to the very end of the age.” This is a powerful verse to meditate on as you ponder your God-given purpose and dreams. God has placed something in your heart, a seed that maybe hasn’t burst yet, but when it bears fruit it will be so ripe and savory that others will be blessed by what God has planted inside of you. Brenda shares, “The true power of our life on earth is something we might know until we get to heaven, but it’s there. How do we tap into it? We need to tap into the power of God.” Shelley adds, If we can stay in the center of God’s will, the storm might be all around us, but we’ll remain in perfect peace.” Brenda chimes in, “Read God’s word. Speak God’s word. Believe God’s word, and watch God work. He will turn what little you have into so much more. Jesus commanded Peter and the fisherman to cast their nets (Luke 5) after not catching any fish all night, and they caught so many fish that their nets burst and both boats were sinking. I want boat-sinking blessings in my life and for all of us!” This passionate episode will encourage and ignite you and activate the Holy Spirit’s power inside of you.
