Try the Spirits / Tim McCool / 5-21-23
There are many spirits in the world. This does not just refer to demons and angels. At a football game there is the spirit of enthusiasm, or watching a movie can convey a spirit to a person, especially if it is a scary movie. When someone consumes too much alcohol, the spirit of the alcohol …

Faith and the Gospel / Luke Hagler / 5-10-23

Thankful for God’s Word
There are no words to express how much I have learned listening to the recorded services on this amazing podcast. So much has been confirmed for my many questions that are in line waiting for that right time to come forward during my reading in the Bible and listening to a specific service puts the pieces together. God truly does pick and choose carefully who is to be guided in speaking his Word. Being able to pause the recording helps to follow along better while traveling to different books, chapters, verses in both the Old and New Testament, plus write notes in the columns. This allows me to see how their connections offers more information for my research recognizing how after time when baptized, I became more open to understanding as I read. Am starting to grasp better why things seem so different now than before. This amazing journey transpired when I recognized my being given a second at life when a specialist doctor took me without a doctor referral and found a 40 year long hidden illness, recognizing my being given a second chance in life through a special diet to help out. That’s when I asked God into my life, to please show me he was truly real, confirm my thoughts of having protective angels, and truly want to know the difference if it’s at all true being a regular child growing up to adulthood and at adulthood want to know if there truly are children of God and what would it be like and how to be one. Now 4 years into learning know that with God’s guidance he’s been working to do just that very thing. I wouldn’t change anything about my road traveled before knowing God, because now I get the experience of what it means to be born again and become healed. God is truly amazing, has a purpose for his children, and I am so excited to see what he’s preparing me for.
A blessing
I have listened to all the sermons on this app. As soon as my feet hit the floor in the morning I grab my coffee, Bible, and notebook. I also listen to it in my car, when I’m cleaning, cooking, or just need some peace and comfort. My grandfather was a Primitive Baptist preacher in WV. Having this app and many others like yours is a blessing when a church is far away. Thank you for the hard work that goes in to getting the Word out to believers. May God continue to bless you through your service!
