College Football 25 is the video game we've been waiting for (Episode 220)
For the first time in more than a decade , EA Sports finally -- FINALLY!! -- dropped a new version of the old NCAA football video game this week. It's a big moment for those of us of a certain age, and Craig wasted little time diving in. We've got lots of thoughts about an institution that has made its triumphant return.
Also included this week: The long-awaited Ol' Crimson Legendary Lager review!
Other topics of discussion
New AD: We're excited about Anne McCoy!
Q&A: Premium subscribers submitted questions, we gave some answers -- with the help of one Michael Preston, formerly the host of The CougCenter Hour.

Apple Cup ticket prices are INSANE (Episode 219)
Apple Cup tickets went on sale for season ticket holders. And hooooooo boy are the prices something to behold: The cheapest, “get in the door” ticket is $94 (plus, I presume, fees). The most expensive ticket — in the club seating between the 40s — is $424+. There also are 12(!!) pricing levels in between those two extremes. Did the game organizers overestimate demand? We think so.

Ol' Crimson Legendary Lager is about to change the game (Episode 218)
It’s no secret that raising NIL funds is a real challenge for WSU. It’s also no secret that the Cougar Collective has been fighting the good fight, doing what it can to help the school be competitive on that front. But this week, the game changes: Every purchase of Ol’ Crimson Legendary Lager sends cash to the Cougar Collective. How lucrative could it be? Will it move the needle? We think it will. And that’s where we start this week’s episode.

Previewing the Crimson and Gray spring football game (Episode 217)
The annual Crimson and Gray game is on Saturday, and that’s when we’ll get our first real look at the Cougars’ rebuilt roster — and the first real chance to talk about something substantive other than the off-court upheaval of men’s basketball. The quarterback competition will take center stage.

Fired up about David Riley (Episode 216)
The more we dig into new WSU men’s basketball coach David Riley — and the more we hear from him — the more impressed we are with him, and the more excited we are about what he might be able to do in Pullman. This episode was a fun one for us, as it’s one the rare occasions we were able to record at the same location — this time, at Beer Star in Tacoma after watching the NCAA championship. Let’s get excited about the future of Cougar basketball.

Kyle Smith and Pat Chun are out; what's next for WSU? (Episode 215)
The last time we recorded a show, the Cougs had just been selected as a No. 7 seed in the NCAA tournament. Since then, WSU beat Drake in the first round; WSU lost to Iowa State in the second round; Kyle Smith left for Stanford; Pat Chun left for UW. What. The. Hell. We try to make sense of it all, which — to be honest — took us on quite the journey.

No more Michael Preston!!!!!!
Is there anyway we can separate the two podcasts???? I feel like this is the ultimate bait and switch. I come here too listen to Craig and Jeff and end up listening to Michael Preston which I have no interest in doing.
Excellent analysis and great banter
This quickly became one of my favorite pods. Jeff and Craig know their stuff and have great rapport and chemistry. This pod is an absolute must for any WSU fan.
Stop tapping the microphone Craig!!!
You’re killing me with that sound. I need that sweet Cougar insight in my life though. It’s an affliction.
Really appreciate the content by Jeff and Craig. Keep up the good work!
