If success was guaranteed what would you do?
You want success in your coaching business you can almost taste it. You see how powerful a podcast can be to reach your potential clients, and you want the help to guarantee that success BUT … something is in the way.
Thoughts like, it's too much work, I don't have time, I'm not ready get in the way and the biggest obstacle is your lack of trust that you can 10000% make what you want a reality.
You dabble with free stuff, trying to figure it out on your own, you take the free courses and coaching programs, and get the checklists and guides, and tuck them away and say "later."
... later never comes.
You're fearful of putting skin in the game to invest in yourself by hiring a coach, and so the success you want remains a wish because you don't know how to get there.
You keep trying the same thing expecting different results.
Great coaches have coaches, because they have discovered that a return on investment that compounds overtime is possible, and that's the insurance to reach the success they know is guaranteed because they are driving the bus.
Once you get a taste of this there's no turning back. Your belief skyrockets and what you invest becomes irrelevant because you know you'll compound what you put in.
For the first few years of my business I was seeking the golden ticket, piecing together the free stuff, the courses and I listened to all the "experts."
I thought ... "If I just get all the strategies, the swipe files and checklists, and I follow them exactly, I'll figure this shit out."
I stayed in this kind of scarcity without even knowing it, and the looping thought was: "When I start making money in my business, then I'll be ready to hire a coach."
Instead of: "When I hire a coach, then I'll start making money and have the success I want."
Scarcity and worry about not having enough was the mantra in my head and I kept creating the same problem because I could not see that I was the one creating the obstacle.
When you view hiring a coach as an investment instead of an expense, you begin to trust in your own power to compound your investment because you put your chips on YOU.
Can it be scary? Sure. That's what it means to be an entrepreneur. If you want to make your business work, you get help.
I say all of this with total love because I know the pain of denial in my own business journey.
Once I began investing in myself, that's when the shift began, and it happened fast.
I held my breath and jumped in. The water was cold and a little shock to my system, but it was exhilarating too because I knew it was exactly the thing I had to do.
Finding the money became a non-issue because I created the safety in my beliefs that I could create more.
What you want is so close. You just have to move over and get out of your own way.
If money was not an issue, and the success you want is 100% guaranteed, what would you do?
Sending you so much love and support, and when you jump I'll be there to catch you. 3

Podcast Launch Lab / Lesson 4 - Recording Episodes + Time Saving Batching Hacks
If you're wanting a step-by-step way to create and launch a successful podcast then here we go .... ready, set, record your launch episodes + some time saving hacks!
In this Podcast Launch Lab lesson, we talk about about how to connect with the people you want to reach through your words so you can have an impact on your current listeners, and hold the space powerfully behind the microphone so the people you want to reach flock to you.
Remember … this is about having fun. That’s why you are here. :)
“Content is (still) king” as they say, and the same holds true for podcasts. Focus on working with your energy and inspiration when you sit down to record.
Decide what your content creation sessions look like. Will you write all your episode scrips/talking points first, or do a few at a time? Chunk it down to remove the overwhelm. Capitalize on your high-energy times, and pay attention to your body and rest at low-energy times. Learn why rest is actually a time saving hack! Practice makes perfect. Your first few episodes may be clunky, and that’s OK. Honor these beginnings in your podcasting journey. Share your number 1 takeaway is from this episode by going over to Instagram and connecting with me @karagottwarner and comment what you LOVED about this episode on my most-recent post. ALSO ... if you want to take me up on an insane offer to work with me for FREE for 3 full weeks of podcast coaching, then email email@example.com with a simple one-liner - "I'm a HECK YEAH and ready for free coaching to help launch my podcast!"
Podcast Launch Lab / Lesson 3 - Get Organized + equipment, setting up your podcasting systems
In this lesson, we'll talk about how to get organized, and some basic recording and editing software so you can start putting this roadmap into action!
Before we get started, I always want you to check in with what's happening in your brain. Starting a podcast is no different than anything else we're doing, especially when there's a learning curve or we're doing something new.
Doubts will come up and this is how I help my clients -- we need to figure out what's up with your podcasting brain so you don't try recording that intro for the 20th time, or fidegting with the mic sound.
This podcasting thing is YOUR wild west. So let's go create it!
In the last Lesson, I asked you 10 questions. These questions become the foundation for your own personalized podcast success roadmap, which makes the rest easy becuase you are showing up from a place that feels fun, good, and in alignment with your vision for your podcast which you're been building since we started this Workshop.
Here’s a peek at what you’ll learn in this lesson:

HEY WANT TO GET COACHED FOR FREE?
I'm doing something amazing that's really exploding! I'm offering 3 weeks of free podcast coaching. You come ready to work on your podcast. We flesh out your roadmap, then you hit the ground running.
As your coach, I got your back in a way that you won't find with other podcast coaches. I'm a certified life coach and I have 8 years of podcasting expertise, so when you are struggling with recording that intro for the 20th time, I'll help you work through the obstacle thoughts that keep you stuck on repeat.
Once your podcast brain is in alignment with your beautiful vision, you are ready to start working your roadmap ... and it's cruise control the rest of the way. Sounds dreamy, right?
Then I'll set up up with free coaching. All you need to do is reach out to me by going to firstname.lastname@example.org and hit me up with a one-liner that says "podcast coaching please!"
You get to do whatever you f*ing want with your podcast
Don’t let perfect be your downfall. Show up bad. Show up messy. Show up as you. Just show up. You don't need to be fancy.
I started with nothing but my phone back in 2014 and within a month I had a New York Times best selling author ask to be a guest on my show. Proves the music the intro, the polish means nothing if there’s nothing but fluff in the middle.
Sometimes showing up is the ONLY insurance you need. You don't have to move mountains ... it doesn't have to be THE BEST every time.
The first person who decided to record into a microphone and figured out how to put out to the world was creating a Wild West. That was not that long ago. About a decade ... at most 15 years ago. Seriously. Your podcast. YOUR way.
When I get behind the microphone I ask myself: “what's the solution that allows me to show up in a way that helps me to cherish my listeners, my clients, make myself a better coach ... and honor this relationship I have with my podcast?”
There's gonna come a time when you're doing your podcast and you’re like, “ugh, the honeymoon is over. It’s just it's not fun, the sex isn't that great anymore and they just don't look so good to me these days.”
Our pods can kinda be the same... but like any relationship it’s about cultivating it, mindfully and intentionally nurturing it, and looking for fun and new ways to spice things up.
You get to create what you want with your podcast, and do it in a way that you want to. Not based on a thing someone said “hey this works. I’ll make it a rule and tell everyone about it because I’m getting 10,000 downloads.”
You can’t take someone’s thought and get the result of 10,000 downloads if you feel like ass every time you record. Downloads mean zero if you have no engagement. Downloads don’t equal money in the bank. Your belief is what puts the money in the bank.
Podcasting can be your muse … an art project ... a side gig, like playing in the sandbox. It's all yours. You get to do whatever the heck you want.
And hey ... if you want some FREE podcast coaching, I'm offering a new way to help and it's seriously exploding. I'm filling spots pretty quickly and I opening up a new round every 2-3 weeks, sooo ... email me at: email@example.com and I’ll let you know if I have spots opening up.
Here's what Jen had to say about her experience: "As someone who just finished 3 weeks of coaching, I can attest that it's worth every minute … and I'll will be a paying customer when I am starting my podcast launch because I now know how Kara coaches. I have already developed a rapport with her and she's helped me start to wrap my head around my ability to do this, and she's pretty badass! Can't recommend it enough!!!
Podcast Launch Lab / Lesson 2: Podcasting Success Blueprint
Now that you have the template and did some research in the last lesson, and you’re excited about what’s possible, now we'll build your Podcast Success Blueprint
We take this Roadmap and align it to the way you like to do things … and do it in a fluid way that keeps you showing from a place that feels good.
When you plan in this way, it honors your vision, the content you want to create, the launch details, because this is a process that takes time and having the space to allow for fun, ease and creativity is essential, and doing in a way that you are aligned to your vision so you are empowered to show up and do the work with the firm belief that you are setting the stage for a successful podcast.
One final note ... you're on a journey. Creating a podcast is playing the long game. You are doing this because you love this medium and look forward to sharing your coaching message in this way, so take your time!
