Kendal Daniels arrived at Oklahoma State in 2021, expecting to start as a true freshman. He was quickly hit with a reality check. Daniels redshirted his first season with the Cowboys, sitting behind guys like Jason Taylor and Kolby Harvel-Peele. But the patience paid off. 2022 was a breakout season for Daniels. He tallied 71 total tackles, 3 interceptions and 1 forced fumble while earning Big 12 Defensive Freshman of the Year honors. He was also named to the FWAA Freshman All-America Team. Daniels isn’t worried about any accolades this season. His focus is on one thing—winning.
