Potcast 253: Live in Harmony With Your Body
A Roadmap to Stop or Reverse Dis-Ease: If you’re looking for natural and holistic approaches to health care, you’re in the right place. On Potcast 253, Dr. Michelle Sexton, a respected expert in the fields of medical cannabis and integrative medicine, joins us to share practical advice on improving sleep, exercise, and diet. And to discuss her new book 'Eat, Sleep, Relax, Protect, Forget: An Endocannabinoid Guide to Systems Fullness for Women.' Though the book focuses on women, this convo is for anyone feeling stuck or stressed. Dr. Sexton explains the role of stress, and how to reduce its impact through understanding and leveraging the ECS. You’ll take away insights on the impacts of stress on your body and mind, and strategies for resilience through natural options like cannabis, yoga, and fasting. We also delve into identifying childhood traumas and managing our stress response for long-term wellness.
