Hey everyone! It’s been a while since we’ve podcasted—I’ve got so many episodes I still need to upload! I’ve been busy living life, and sometimes we all need a break. This podcast has become part of my therapy now so it does more for me than for you I bet.
This year, we’ve seen so many different versions of me, and my hair often reflects those phases. Sean jokes that I was nicer with certain hair when we were dating, but when we first met, I was also battling sobriety. We dive deep into topics like my avoidant attachment style, childhood neglect, and even the 90s eating disorder culture. But it’s all about processing, not blaming.
We also chat about trauma, AA meetings, codependency, and, yes, even crying—though Fox and the Hound is the only thing that can make me cry (although Sean thinks Guardians of the Galaxy will also do it). Oh, and there’s a story about Sean setting our tent on fire while on vacation. What would you have done? You'll have to listen to know!
Lastly, RIP to Ghost the Guinea Pig—this episode is in his honor.
