About Dr. Emajonite Etienne: Dr. Etienne is a professor and early intervention practitioner with extensive experience working with children with ASD. A proud Haitian-American, fluent in Haitian-Creole, she actively brings awareness about autism to the communities she serves. Dr. Etienne has recently defended her doctoral dissertation focusing on teacher perceptions of the use of evidence-based practices for students with autism.
