    Freeing Ourselves of Shame and Guilt #231

    I'm BACK!! I'm sorry for the long hiatus. My self-care for the past few weeks has been to honor a few things on my own as we mourned another loss. This EP is all about feelings of shame and guilt. We are going to begin to do the work to free ourselves from it. I've felt a lot of shame for many things I will get into, but I also felt guilty for things I was and was not doing. I felt guilty that I didn't have anything to share at the time that would inspire any of you, and I needed to just focus on myself for a bit while grieving.     Babydust and All Things Hopeful #230

    Focusing on self-care and actually caring for yourself this week vs. self-indulgence. It's been a long week to process. I had my third D&E procedure after our third loss this past week. I've been spending so much money on household things to cope with my loss. I'm not in a good place but I'm not on the verge of a breakdown. Everything is just hard. Through it all, I'm oddly hopeful. I feel my babies and their souls around me and with me. I feel all the baby dust and the love and joy from all those I'm connecting with. My wonderful husband and my beautiful friends and family surround me with so much love and support! Sometimes life just sucks and we truly have to be grateful for what we do have and what we can control or how we choose to respond to things being thrown at us.     Striving for Perfection/Infertility 3.0 #229

    "Nurture your mind with great thoughts, for you will never go any higher than you think." -Benjamin Disraeli We strive for perfection in so many aspects of live. Today, we dive deeper into this word, social norms, and the personal pressure we put on ourselves. In addition, I share about our very recent 3.0 baby loss that I have been waiting to share good news again with y'all, but it turned out to not be so good of news for the third time. This time, we were only at 10 1/2 weeks, but it's still been another traumatic moment for our fertility journey.     Last week was the predicted due date of our 2.0 baby we lost at 17 weeks in March.     The Guilt Complex #225

    Labor Day is approaching, and it always feels like the last weekend of summer, even though we still have a few weeks left. We are looking back at the summer we've had and excited for the fall, holidays, and the rest of the year to come. I've been struggling with my approach to how I want to share with people when we are pregnant again. I felt like the best form of action was to stop drinking for the time being. It's been about three weeks. But this will give me the freedom of who and when I want to tell people when I'm pregnant because not drinking is always the main indication.
