Preview of minohsayaki 'Painted Hide Robes' Art Exhibit

From January 30 to June 8, 2024, the Richard and Carole Cocks Art Museum at Miami University is hosting the "Minohsayaki ‘Painted Robes’: A Peewaalia and Myaamia Story of Reclamation". This exhibition tells of the effort to reclaim the practice of hide painting within the Peewaaliaki and Myaamiaki communities and reconnect those practices with the stories that are essential to who they are as a people. Our hosts provide a brief rundown of the exhibit and some of the things you can expect to find when visiting!
