This week we have two longtime friends of the podcast, Nikki Hiltz and Dana Giordano, calling in from their training camp in Park City, Utah. We talked about Pride Month and current events, what it means to be a gay runner in 2020, and the balance between public image and personal lives for pro athletes.
Nikki and her teammates are putting on a virtual Pride 5k this coming weekend, which has raised over $20,000 for The Trevor Project (https://www.thetrevorproject.org/), a charity organization that provides suicide prevention services to LGBTQ youth. It was a great and wide ranging conversation and I think you’ll really enjoy it!
