Pro Tennis Player Lester Cook: Exactly how does it feel to be ranked 191st in the world?

Workin' It

This is is one of our favorite episodes ever and we're thrilled that it's our SEASON 2 PREMIERE! Lester Cook was a professional tennis player for 6 years. He won 8 professional singles titles and 18 doubles titles, reaching a career high ranking of No. 191 in singles and No. 175 in doubles. He competed in all 4 grand slams as a pro and participated in 3 World Team Tennis seasons. In our talk, we chat about what life was like on the margins of the ATP tour and how Lester came to have such a great perspective on all that he did (and did not) accomplish in tennis. This was such a funny and interesting conversation about one of the lesser known sides of professional sports! Check out Lester's current career at LesterCookRealEstate.com and be sure follow him on Instagram. Reed Fish is @tallreedfish on Instagram and @reedfish on Twitter. Follow Workin' It wherever you get your social media: @workinitpod on Instagram and Facebook. Also, what the hell, might as well set your homepage to workinitpod.com, too.
