PNN--EJR w/Jeanine Molloff - Trump witnesses received financial benefits ...

ProPublica published an in depth investigation into the financial benefits received by multiple witnesses testifying on Trump's behalf. These financial gains were dispensed by either the Trump campaign and/or a host of Trump businesses. So far, no other outlet has reported on this alleged organized witness tampering, except ProPublica. This silence from other media is part of a complicit pattern. Whether its labeling the espionage charges Trump faces for possessing top secret documents beyond his presidency--a "documents" case--or sitting back as other GOP politicians tell asinine lies that are left unchallenged by corporate journalists; the pattern of media complicity has granted Trump undeserved cover. I will discuss.

We will also have our "Jackass of the Week Award and another musical parody.

PNN w/Jeanine Molloff - Trump should get prison time just like a poor man.

PNN w/Jeanine Molloff - Trump should get prison time just like a poor man.

Donald Trump has been convicted on 34 criminal counts. If he were a poor man or a black man--he would receive prison time. Unfortunately, prison time for 'The Donald' is unlikely as corporate media keeps bleating on like brain dead sheep. One of the excuses arguing against prison time is the old bromide that 'white collar crime' is 'non-violent.' I would argue that 'white collar crime' IS violent, a type of economic violence against the rest of the non-rich society. This episode will examine the open discrimination against low income defendants when compared to wealthy ones. Given the chaos that Trump has caused, his incarceration is necessary. He should receive no special privileges. He should have to await any appeals claims while serving time in prison--just like a low income defendant. In fact, this single case is the poster child for the inequity in our justice system, where rich defendants can buy their way out of pre-trial detention--while poor defendants rot in jail merely waiting for their trial date. More than 60% of defendants are rotting in pre-trial detention merely because they can't afford bail. They haven't been convicted. Their only crime at that point--is not being rich.

I will also look at the other looming trial aka as the 'documents case.' First of all, its not a 'documents' case; its an espionage case. I'll review the treatment of espionage defendant Reality Winner and that of Donald Trump. This will be  a cursory review with more details coming in another show.

This is a special episode. We will also have the musical parody stylings of Randy Rainbow.

EJR w/Jeanine Molloff - Big Banks still bankroll fossil fuel polluters.

EJR w/Jeanine Molloff - Big Banks still bankroll fossil fuel polluters.

Big banks are still bankrolling the fossil fuel industry. Claims coming from Wall Street that they are going 'green' are nothing but a big lie. We will speak to this ongoing public relations scam aka 'greenwashing'. That is our first story.

Our second story is about another 'greenwashing' scheme, namely SMR's or Small Modular Reactors, which are smaller nuclear reactors placed underground. They have been touted as 'green.' They are anything but.

We will also have our "Jackass of the Week" awards and our latest addition to our Deplorables List.

EJR w/Jeanine Molloff - Climate scientists blow the whistle on corporate liars.

EJR w/Jeanine Molloff - Climate scientists blow the whistle on corporate liars.

This week on EJR I will discuss how climate scientists worldwide are blowing the whistle on corporate lies about global climate devastation. Many of these renowned climate scientists are plainly stating the the 1.5 degree goal was nothing but political theater as govenrment officials across the globe ignored and mocked the consensus opinions of the scientists. Now we are facing a global catastrophe that no one can escape. These scientists definitively state that all of humanity must cooperate in order to survive. This is our big story. We will also discuss a case won by environmental activists in Europe.

We also have an Ivy League "Jackass of the Week" Award recipient, and a very obvious Deplorable to add to our list.

Finally, we have two funny political parodies.

EJR w/Jeanine Molloff - Corporations pushed climate lies and killed the planet.

EJR w/Jeanine Molloff - Corporations pushed climate lies and killed the planet.

We will look at the decades old disinformation campaign sponsored by big petroleum pushing the lie that global warming is overblown, a hoax, a 'Chicken Little' panic. This campaign has lulled the public into a false sense of safety. Just like big tobacco, the petroleum industry should be held accountable for the death and destruction they have caused. This is our big story.

Story #2 will focus on a recent SCOTUS decision. The Supreme Court refused to hear the case of Doe v. McKesson, thus sanctifying the lower courts decision which held that protest organizers can be held liable for the actions of anyone present at the scene. The ramifications of this pronouncement have dire repercussions for any protest group.

We will also report on our latest Jackass of the Week Awards, and expand our growing List of Deplorables.

EJR w/Jeanine Molloff--Polluters should face criminal sanctions. ICC weighs in.

EJR w/Jeanine Molloff--Polluters should face criminal sanctions. ICC weighs in.

Academics and environmental justice campaigners are demanding that the International Criminal Court (ICC), begin investigating and prosecuting environmental criminals. This demand would most likely include prosecution of Big Petroleum regarding its major role in global climate devastation. In response to these demands, the ICC's chief prosecutor, Karim Khan is developing a policy paper which will guide his office in terms of "accountability, transparency, and predictability" in this work. This move is long overdue. Unfortunately, it is not enough. Peacable protesters and activists are being targeted by the the UK government and prosecuted for offenses so trivial they would even make Dumb Donnie Trump blush. Dare to participate in a "slow march" and face prison time. Corporations are being given the power (not the right--but the POWER)--to attack citizens daring to use their right to peacable protest. This is done under the 'civil injunction' rule. There's so much more in terms of judicial and police abuse--so tune in.

We will take a quick look at the decades old disinformation campaign sponsored by big petroleum pushing the lie that global warming is overblown, a hoax, a 'Chicken Little' panic. This is a 'teaser' for the next show.

We will also have our Deplorables List and the Jackass of the Week Award.

    Tune in Sunday--or anytime.
