Calming but I could do without the meditation

I appreciate the calming aspect of the hosts voice and I do need to take care of myself a little better because I have two boys but I could do without the meditation part. Meditate actually means to chew on something, to think on it. To think on nothing or empty your mind is more new age-y. I’m a Bible believing Christian and need to get away from new age practices.

My daughter play a deep role in this. She has her doctorate in psychology and public health. We have a good but surface relationship due to this way of thinking. About 15 or 20 yrs ago people didnt think like this. Around late 1990s due to some “key” gurus there was much marketing in this and “high end” retreats to go with it to destress. Still addictions, Domestic violence etc are more than ever. It isn’t the answer and it has been age old problem from the beginning of time. In China everyone has to take psychology. People need to learn how to communicate to touch ones heart but not to manipulate them into thinking like we would like Which is the agenda of the globalists.
