LETS KEEP THIS GOING

I have never written a review for a podcast before, and I’ve always said (not really) that in order for me to break this trend, I would need to have a really good motive. Well, maintaining the well-being of the Psychofarm podcast is just that! Psychofarm (Dr. Malzberg in his various iterations) is a great teacher who incorporates the best of rational psychopharmacology in combination with psychoanalytic ideas to present a thoughtful, interesting, and actually effective approach to the diagnosis and treatment of psychiatric problems. If you are a fan of the evidence based psychopharmacological thinking present in the Carlat Report, and the thought-provoking writing and ideas of Slatestarcodex and The Last Psychiatrist, this is the podcast for you. Also, this is my first introduction to Dr. Foo, but he fits into the same mold and is a great listen as well!
Great addition!!

Psychofarm continues to deliver! Starting from humble beginnings on Reddit, to Carlat report, and now a podcast. Evidence based and digestible. Thank you for all you do.
Much needed nuance.

Always enjoy the free-flowing yet semi-structured conversation between these two doctors, which brings a fresh non-stale approach while not shying away from the multiple shades of grey in our field. They both have gifted understanding of DSM nosology, cultural and medical constructs, and dimensional approaches to personality and mood problems. Always appreciate a Nancy McWilliams shoutout as well, who Psychofarm interviews on their Youtube channel. 10 out of 10, would recommend.
