I’m a huge fan of Nicola as an author and historian so I was completely thrilled to hear she was starting a podcast! History Gems does not disappoint. Nicola is a great host and speaks with other first class historians to reveal the fascinating stories behind the jewels. The first episode with Tracy Borman was just pure joy. I can’t wait for the episodes to come!

I love Dr. Tallis’s books and I was so excited to learn about her new podcast. The first two episodes have not disappointed. I highly recommend :)

Thank you, Dr. Tallis and Dr. Borman for a fascinating discussion of Elizabeth I and her jewels. I was able to see the Chequers ring once, and it absolutely took my breath away. Always a pure delight to hear you both speak. Thank you!!
