Questions, Concerns, Culture, and Christianity with Dr. Quantrilla Ard, Ph.D

The Best Kept Secret With Liv Dooley

I never thought I would struggle in a conversation about goodness. If there's one thing I know, it's that God is good. However, I'm grateful that my sister in the Kingdom, Dr. Quanny, came alongside me to have this conversation because it's one we need to have.

The Conversations in our culture encourage us to challenge God's goodness but, today we're challenging the culture.

We're coming together to have a conversation on how to rise above the culture to influence it for Christ, instead of allowing it to influence our connection with Him. As our conversations on the Fruit of the Spirit, found in Galatians 5:22-23 slowly wind down, I truly hope that you'll sit with this episode and invite God to soften your hearts to those areas that are becoming more desensitized everyday.

Today, Dr. Quanny helped to answer the following questions:

  • When you think of God’s goodness, what comes to mind?
  • What kinds of things have led you to question God’s goodness?
  • How do you show goodness to others even when it’s hard to find something good within them?
  • How can we continue to encourage the culture to turn to Christ instead of allowing the culture to turn us against Him?

I also asked Dr. Quanny a bonus question on humility-just for fun! She is literally one of the most accomplished women I know (and I know a lot) and yet, she is also one of the most humble. Today, I'm grabbing a pillow off the couch and sitting at her feet to learn.
