Quiet Innovation: Great Ideas Hiding in Plain Sight.®

Through a combination of engaging interviews and narrative from the host, John Gavin, a seasoned securities analyst and serial entrepreneur, this podcast showcases innovations right under our noses. The show takes you places you did not expect regarding things you may often see, pass by, and perhaps even take for granted. Quiet Innovation brings them to your attention, leaving great stories that stick with you once you hear about them. With nearly 30 years of professional experience to draw on, John has the perspective to strike the balance you need to stay hopeful, yet realistic. That experience includes having worked as a financial analyst and portfolio manager for well-known investment firms and starting two of his own companies in 2000. Today John enjoys a lifestyle that comes from working hard, living within your means, and picking yourself up and trying again when things don’t go as planned. In addition to having had feature articles written about one of his own great ideas in both the New York Times (twice) and the Wall Street Journal, John has also regularly appeared as a guest analyst on CNBC and has been quoted in a wide array of other media outlets. In his personal life, he also served for 20 years as a volunteer firefighter where he rose to command rank and helped to train the next generation of first responders. Though now retired from active duty, he proudly remains a certified EMT today.
