A unique and enjoyable record of work and talent
Oct 19
I’ve come to rely on Deborah Treisman and her collection of writers and their stories for everything from entertainment to guidance in my own writing. The innovation of having New Yorker authors read their favorite stories from the magazine as well as discussing them and reading their own stories too, turns all this talent into, if not a family, then an exclusive clan. Thanks for sharing all this.
Clare Keegan So Late in the Day

I have just discovered this podcast. I listen to George Saunders discussing Claire Keegan‘s story so late in the day. It was one of the most moving stories and discussions. I’ve heard anywhere. I’m still crying. Thank you. Sara

I was itching for more reading/listening material to stir the emotions. I’ve only listened to the latest episode (Love Letter), but I can already tell the itch has been scratched. Hopefully, the backlog will be enough material to keep me occupied.

Gently, and then not so gently, eviscerating. Brilliant writing, reading, and conversating.
