NFC Raspberry Pi Media Player

You can build a tap-to-play video player using a Raspberry Pi 5, Adafruit's NFC Breakout and NFC cards. A python script runs code that launches movies in the VLC media player. The NFC cards are fitted inside a 3D printed case inspired by VHS cassette tapes. Build a magic neverending story book with a Raspberry Pi and touchscreen, and ChatGPT. We've added a voice recognition module using Open AI, so all you need to do is speak to the storybook and ask for the story you want, and your book will give you endless stories. Every day, new innovations and inventions change the way we interact with the world around us and with each other. Many of the marvels we read about in the science fiction stories of our youth are suddenly, magically possible with a little clever engineering and a healthy dose of imagination. This guide will show you how to create your own never-ending story book using a Raspberry Pi and a touch screen display. Speak your request out loud, and the book will write you an original story based on your prompt. The software uses Open AI to leverage ChatGPT, a language-based AI, to fill an endless storybook with imaginative stories. This code includes an editable prompt file called bookprompt.txt, so you can dictate the character names, story length, writing style, or any other parameters you'd like. Your daughter will love reading stories about herself and her cat as they adventure through an endless world of imagination, in the style of Dr. Seuss! Raspberry Pi Streams Chill LoFi YouTube While I Code!

From our Ladyada ... "I love having one of these chill YouTube 'radio' streams going on while I code, but I dont like having a separate browser window open just to play music. Then I thought "hey lets have a Pi 4 do it for me!" The Braincraft hat has a display where we have a Chromium Kiosk window open so the adorable animation plays. Audio comes out of the onboard I2S codec for great sound - I'm using headphone/line out to a speaker Phil gave me, but it also has speaker drivers. The onboard on/off switch acts as an easy mute. Next up we'll add the joystick to control volume up/down and maybe select different streams left/right." Turkeyday Leftover Leak! Cobbler 400 our first Raspberry Pi 400 accessory!

We are STUFFED with mashed potatoes, stuffing, and cranberry sauce. So it's a good time to sit back, chillax and test out new designs. This is the coming-soon Cobbler 400 which plugs into the back of the Pi400 and lets you use any Bonnet, PHAT, mini HAT, etc. This version is just a passthru but we want to revise it when we send out for prototype fab - maybe add some STEMMA connectors, power indicators and a button.
