Crystle does a great job encouraging people through empowerment. Each guest has a meaningful nugget of wisdom to share, and I’m always built up after listening to the episodes. My favorite nugget was “don’t cry past Tuesday.”
Insightful and Informative Podcast
06/25/2019
I am enjoying listening to the Red My Lipstick podcast hosted by Crystle Johnson because it is insightful, informative, and helpful. As an African American woman, the topics that are discussed resonate with me, especially Episodes 13-14. I am learning the importance of cultivating a strong network by building meaningful relationships and continuing to take action to promote diversity and inclusion in the workplace. I found about this podcast by connecting with Crystle on LinkedIn.
The Real Deal
02/17/2019
For the past 6 months, I’ve been extremely interested in podcasts. Especially when there’s a focus on black women in corporate America. So far, this is the very first podcast that speaks to us young professionals looking from the bottom up. Let me explain. Most podcasts, that I’ve listened to, the guest speakers have already made to their final destination (IE. a C-Suite position or entrepreneur of a successful company) and they are giving advice on how to get there. The Read My Lipstick podcast allows listeners (like me) to hear from individuals who are still in the process of their glow up. I truly appreciate it and I am here for it! Yvonne Komenan sent me here.
