Devout Christian; Love The Podcast!

I really enjoy this podcast, love the topics and enjoy listening to Shane’s thoughts on the strange and unusual! I was, however, quite taken a back and surprised by the attack on Christians in a recent episode. It was quite personal and directed at anyone of the faith, not just at individuals who make terrible choices that are the complete opposite of what a Christian is. And because these hateful people call themselves “Christian’s” I’m more offended by their behavior than a non-believer would be. The misrepresentation is appalling. And sadly, those are the loudest ones who make a big heinous scene - but they are BY FAR the minority. And Catholicism is not a comparison. They call themselves a type of Christianity, but there are VERY big differences between the faiths, and these differences are quite defining. I don’t agree with 90% of Catholicism. It doesn’t feel very good to be mislabeled as a terrible person because of my faith - especially when my faith is all about love and compassion…. So I won’t lie, I was really hurt by what was said. But I’m still a fan of you and your podcast. I’m not going to give you 1 star and blast you with a negative review. I realize that to have such an opinion on an entire faith as you do, some hurtful experiences must have happened in your life, and that breaks my heart, as Christianity should have the complete opposite effect on a persons life. Hopefully you can someday realize that those are not the behaviors of a TRUE Christian - not in the slightest, it’s in fact the opposite. They hold up signs that say they love Jesus, it makes me sick. It’s a mockery to the faith. They know absolutely nothing about Christian values. So please, please do not judge all of us for the abhorrent behavior of the loud minority. Thanks for the podcast, Shane. Keep up the good work!
Spooky Themes, Perfect for the Halloween Mood!

I’m a huge horror fan and I get a lot of enjoyment out of this show. Growing up I had books on cryptids and weird happenings so I always get really excited when Halloween comes around. I recently discovered this show and I love the settings of the events and how the host describes the surroundings of these places in-depth. I would definitely recommend this to my spooky-minded friends!
Great potential, but needs work

I just listened to the ‘Haunted CSU’ episode. I have listened to other episodes and noticed the same issues, but this episode is just a prefect example of the problems with the podcast as a whole. Just like the title of this review says - great potential, but needs work. To the host - please, take an extra five minutes and google the pronunciations of names and even words you are unsure of. California is the most populous state in the country and the episode is about and takes place in California. You mispronounced almost every city on the story. It is normally a little thing and can be overlooked. The problem here is that every time you ‘get over’ one wrong name, there os another one right behind it. The host also uses the wrong word several times, which is just annoying for the listeners and gives the show an unprofessional feel to it. I think having some kind of editor would do wonders for this show. Overall, the stories and production are good. If the overwhelming amount of small mistakes can be taken care of, I think this show could be great!
