Reconstructing construction with Adaptavate's Breathaboard

Turquoise International

In the latest episode of Talks with Turquoise, Managing Director Ian Thomas finds out more about a company that aims to revolutionise the construction industry. He spoke to the founder and CEO of Adaptavate, Tom Robinson.

Adaptavate's Breathaboard is a direct, drop-in alternative to plasterboard, but one that is bio-based and carbon sequestering, resulting in a recyclable, lower-carbon product.

Ian and Tom discuss:

  • Adaptavate's goal to decarbonise the built environment and reduce waste with low-carbon and carbon-negative building materials.
  • Potential partnerships with large building materials companies
  • Preparing for a Series A investment round to build a first commercial facility
