A safe place
I would recommend this to any man or woman who has experienced spiritual abuse and is making sense of their faith in the midst of the collateral damage. This podcast fills a much needed space in the conversation on spiritual abuse and deconstruction. She acknowledges the reality of spiritual abuse, while encouraging those who walk that path to turn to the greatest source of safety: Jesus. Her own experience of spiritual abuse gives her the rare ability to speak to these issues as one who has been through them herself.
