When I discovered my spouse betrayed me, I was so lost. I didn’t know where to start. I came across Kylene on TikTok, which led me to this podcast. I immediately knew I was getting sound advice from someone who had walked in my shoes and felt what I am currently feeling. I will forever be grateful to Kylene and Patrick for putting their story out there. It’s because of them my husband and I were able to find the right therapists for our situation, get into groups that support us (separately) and are working on a full therapeutic disclosure. Kylene and Patrick’s story is helping me on my personal healing journey. It’s so rare to get such an open, honest and realistic insight through twists and turns and into possibility from both the POV of the betrayed and the addict… I was surprised by how much I identified with both Kylene and also Patrick’s experiences when my own story is so different. The whole podcast really humanizes the whole experience of trauma healing. Through their honest and open storytelling, I’m also gaining a blueprint/ideas/tools that I can try on, adapt for myself, and even have them to know what to advocate for and to communicate to those who can help in my own healing journey.
