Dr. Hardin’s podcasts are very thoughtful and informative, as she covers a wide range of topics with many inside stories that are helpful to residents, fellows and medical students - indeed to general public, to navigate through the hardest and most productive learning period of medical education for promising surgeons and physicians, young and “old” :)

As a parent with a non medical background working to understand and support my resident, this podcast has been invaluable. It shares the structure and challenges of residency and what residents go thru as well as coping mechanisms and resources to get through residency. Really appreciate the real conversations and the transparency of the doctors who give back.

Dr. Frances Mei Hardin is an extraordinary physician, colleague, advisor and true mover-and-shaker. In addition to her many other invaluable efforts to educate and support those new to a healthcare system that is itself on life support, Dr. Hardin lends her insights and energy to the nonprofit charity Clinician Burnout Foundation as an Advisory Board member.

Dr Hardin provides a fresh perspective on the surgical training process and what it takes to be a successful physician in the modern era. Many gems in each episode. Definitely worth your time!
