In the middle of the Great Recession, with really nowhere else to turn, Brian and his partner Jesse bootstrapped an HVAC business with absolutely zero prior experience in blue collar work. Brian then went on to found a co-working and economic incubator space called Refinery 46. We discuss the perils of starting up a blue collar startup, navigating the immense fear of getting into entrepreneurship, and building a vision for the future of Indianapolis.
