    Presuppositional Apologetics Sye Ten Bruggencate

    Presuppositional Apologetics Sye Ten Bruggencate

The rebels capitalize on having Sye in the studio once again and hit a topic near and dear to Sye’s heart: presuppositional apologetics. Sye contends that you do not have to be an expert in fossil records, on the nuances of the Quaran, or have the argument from design eloquently practiced in order to defend the faith, you just have to believe the Bible.
Join us as we pick Sye’s brain and discuss apologetics with the star of “How to Answer a Fool”

Christ is King and the End of the World with Sye Ten Bruggencate

Christ is King and the End of the World with Sye Ten Bruggencate

This week P Nate and Elder P are joined in studio by Sye Ten Bruggencate. Even though the plan was to talk about presuppositional apologetics (that show will drop next week) the Rebels got sidetracked talking about Sye’s long journey to Crossroads, his thoughts on the “Christ is King” controversy and of course… we had to talk about the world ending (again) on April 8th.

JT's new laws and The Chosen

JT's new laws and The Chosen

This week P Nate and Pootie discuss a number of relevant cultural issues including Canadian censorship, P Diddy's unheard of scandal and why there is media blackout on it as well as answering a listener question about whether or not Christians should watch "The Chosen".

    Talking through the Headlines

    Talking through the Headlines

As P Nate and Pootie prepare for their trip south they take the time to quickly record a new episode talking through the headlines of the day. The Rebel podcast is meant to help equip you to engage culture with a biblical worldview, so thinking Christianly about what’s going on is a necessary first step.

Rebel Podcast Haunted Cosmos: some praise and a warning

Rebel Podcast Haunted Cosmos: some praise and a warning

After the popularity of our Biblical Cosmology series in the fall last year, Pootie finally plays catch up listening to the Haunted Cosmos and the Rebels nerd out on the unhinged.

There is an immense value in Christians understanding what the Bible has to say about the unseen realm, but pastorally P Nate wanted to issue a warning that this is an important secondary issue in scripture that can sometimes become dangerous if we make a secondary storyline THE storyline.

The Allistar Begg Controversy & The Moscow Mood

The Allistar Begg Controversy & The Moscow Mood

After P Nate and Joe Boot talked at length last week about the Alistair Begg controversy, the Rebels take some time to reflect on the animosity towards what has recently been called "The Moscow Mood" by Kevin De Young.

How should Christians engage with controversy, error and cultural issues. What's loving? What's tone policing? And what do the scriptures say?

Praise God!

This show has done leaps and bounds for me and my faith, I found this looking to grow my biblical perspective and have not been disappointed! These Godly men discuss tough real world issues unabashedly and glorify God, these men have led me to other reformed shows all of which have fulfilled that growth I’ve sought! I pray that God keeps up the great works through you gentlemen and that he gird you from those who oppose you. Great podcast!

Two good guys

P Nate and Vanilla Poots have a great chemistry and together make each episode fun. Honest conversations and clear teachings on how we can engage the culture from a biblical world view. I simply love the network they are working to build for Christ’s glory.

“From a Laymen’s perspective”

The title of this review is a bit cheeky, but I wanted to drop a review for these guys. They are stand up me of the gospel, and I appreciate their input and well-roundedness on many topics, whether it be culture, politics, polity, discipleship, or snow blowing. Men, I want to encourage you to keep plugging away for the gospel on all fronts.
