As the culmination of my work throughout my M.Ed. program, I gathered together different experts from numerous fields to discuss trauma-informed practices in schools and how these practices support students, specifically within the immigrant and refugee context. But we don’t stop there! With numerous critiques and misconceptions about these practices, I wanted to unpack these alongside key stakeholders, clarifying its core tenets and goals while also engaging in critical conversations about the future.
