First off I will say the above review by DestinysDaddy is hyper critical. Spencer and Nickie are upfront that they are not pastors or theologians and you should not take their word for what they say but search the scriptures and do your own research. So it’s wrong to expect John Piper level discussion and be so critical. This podcast is another much needed voice from a biblical worldview. They invite challenge and discussion while offering conviction and encouragement. Christianity today has become soft and coated with liberalism in the name of love. God is also just and wields his wrath. Nickie and Spencer are not politically correct and don’t tiptoe around big issues like abortion or homosexuality. So if you’re offended by what you hear don’t listen, or better yet, jump on the discord and say why. If you are not a Christian, you’ll probably be frustrated by this podcast, but that is sometimes how Christ exposes our sin and need for him. Give them a listen. They’re only about 30 min long and I bet your day will be a little better for it.

I think that the review by DestinysDaddy is an accurate critique of this podcast. It’s been said that in this current era in which we live one of the main issues we have is that everyone has an opinion about everything and they want everyone to know about it. I think this podcast falls inline with that statement. I have yet to come across an episode where there was any kind of real understanding of an issue let alone a solid biblical interpretation of scriptures that apply to the area. Their views of an issue are extremely shallow and as stated in another review they seem quite hyper-conservative. If one were actually letting the scriptures speak for themselves they would be more neutral in some areas of discussion. It’s important to remember that the Gospel transcends political lines and if we find ourselves leaning too close to one side we most likely are in the wrong.

I felt like my news sources were too liberal-biased and wanted a different perspective to balance what I hear in the news. This isn’t it. Too full of non-facts; the anti-vax and “the U.S. is the most godless country in the world” statements put it over the top for me, so I’m off to find another conservative voice.
